THURROCK climbed up to 12th in the Isthmian Premier League standings after claiming a 4-1 win over Tooting & Mitcham United.
Fleet went into the fixture having scored four in the victory over Wingate & Finchley last time out.
And a Charlie Stimson double, along with strikes from Joel Nouble and Ronnie Winn, allowed Mark Stimson's side to see off their struggling visitors.
The hosts had to wait until the stroke of half-time before they could break the deadlock, but Stimson was able to grab the opener.
However, the away side were offered a lifeline 10 minutes into the second half as the referee pointed to the penalty spot.
Peter Wedgeworth beat Thurrock goalkeeper Ben McNamara to level matters.
But Tooting & Mitcham United were only on level terms for 15 minutes before Nouble restored Fleet's lead.
Stimson netted his second of the evening to complete his brace and give Thurrock a two-goal cushion nine minutes later.
And Winn wrapped up all three points as he found the back of the net five minutes from time.
Thurrock: McNamara, Morgan, Sutton, Dunn, Clark, Peter, Goode (Pindy 62'), Spence, Stimson, Winn (Ogunrinde 85'), Nouble
