TILBURY and Thurrock extended their unbeaten runs by claiming a share of the spoils in their respective fixtures.
Joe Keith’s Tilbury were pegged back and made to settle for a 1-1 draw with Bury Town in an Isthmian North encounter.
The Dockers, who drew 3-3 with Brentwood Town last time out, broke the deadlock on 25 minutes as Jack Carlile found the back of the net.
But Bury hit back six minutes later at Chadfields, with Jack Lankester notching the leveller.
Both sides went in search of a winner in the second half, but neither team could score a second goal to claim all three points.
As a result, Tilbury remain 19th in the Isthmian North standings.
Meanwhile, Thurrock played out a goalless draw with Leiston in the Isthmian Premier League.
Mark Stimson’s charges went into the match having secured four consecutive wins.
And Lewwis Spence went close for Fleet near the end of the first half but was unable to notch the opener.
The visitors were handed the opportunity to claim the victory late on as the referee pointed to the penalty spot.
But Leiston, who were able to extend their own unbeaten run, were frustrated from 12 yards and the meeting was to end goalless.
Fleet are still 13th in the Isthmian Premier League standings after picking up a point at Ship Lane.
East Thurrock United’s trip to Wealdstone was called off in the National League South, while Aveley’s Isthmian North meeting at Heybridge Swifts was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
