TILBURY secured a home victory over Maldon & Tiptree, while Thurrock lost to Folkestone Invicta in the final home clash to be played under the Ship Lane floodlights.
Maldon & Tiptree missed out on the chance to move just one point off the Isthmian North play-off places as they were beaten by Tilbury.
Joe Keith’s side took the lead inside five minutes at Chadfields.
Albert Keith, who was on target in the Dockers’ late defeat to Heybridge Swifts last time out, grabbed the opening goal of the encounter.
However, George Brown levelled matters for Maldon & Tiptree nine minutes after the interval.
But the Jammers were on level terms for just 10 minutes as Keith notched his second goal of the night.
Toby Aromolaran put the game beyond Maldon & Tiptree by finding a way past visiting goalkeeper Chris Haigh three minutes from time.
Matters got worse for the Jammers as captain Joe Ellul was dismissed in the dying moments.
The result saw Tilbury climb up to 18th place in the Isthmian North standings.
Meanwhile, Mark Stimson’s Thurrock suffered a 2-1 defeat to Folkestone Invicta.
Kieron McCann gave the promotion chasers the lead midway through the first half.
But Ronnie Winn equalised for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.
However, Folkestone Invicta were not to be denied another victory as Joseph Taylor grabbed what proved to be the winner 11 minutes from time.
Fleet, who are 15th in the Isthmian Premier League standings, will now prepare for their final home fixture before disbanding at the end of the campaign.
Thurrock take on Kingstonian, at Ship Lane, on Saturday.
