RUNNERS are encouraged to get their last minute entries in for this weekend’s Thurrock 10K.

The popular MCC Promotions 10K Run Series comes to Essex this weekend with a large number of entrants already signing up.

And although it is too late to enter by post it is possible to sign up on the day (Sunday, October 28) for the event at the Belhus Park Golf Club (RM15 4QR) between 9.30am and 10.15am.

The race, which is run on a relatively flat course, starts at 10.30am.

The event will feature a four lap run around the sports field and also the surrounding areas.

Entry costs £15 and includes a t-shirt and a medal for all runners and a trophy for the first three runners across the line.

There is plenty of free parking and a non-secure bag drop.
