Short turnaround - Southend United host Barnet on Tuesday afternoon
KEVIN Maher believes a ‘patched up’ Southend United will be ready to take on Barnet.
Blues take on the Bees at Roots Hall on Tuesday for their second game in the space of three days.
But Maher insists the Shrimper will be ready.
“We’ve got to patch people up and go again now,” said Maher.
“We’ve got 48 hours and Barnet have had nearly 10 days off now.
“But we’ll get a team out that’s ready to go though and we’ll be ready.”
