EIGHT games remain in the Thurrock Tuesday night 6-a-side league Premiership and it promises to be a cracking second half to the season.
West Thurrock opened up a two point lead at the top after a 2-0 victory over third-placed West Thurrock Youth.
Maze are still very much in the running, though, as they eased to a 5-2 success against Past Masters.
In the Championship, Thurrock Falcons had a great week as they won 2-0 against Russian Substitutes, while nearest challengers Life’s A Pitch went down by the same score to third-placed Unlikely Lads II.
There are just two spaces remaining the Thurrock Tuesday league and one on a Monday evening. Games are held at Chafford Hundred Campus and new teams can play from next week. Teams who play in both leagues get cheaper games. Anyone who requires further information can call 08703300888 or log on to www.prostarleagues.com
