BLUE SQUARE BET SOUTH: It was another very bad day at the office for THURROCK in the Blue Sqaure Bet South as they lost by five goals for the second consecutive game.
Following their 6-1 mauling by Chelmsford City on New Year's Day, Fleet lost 7-2 yesterday to Dover Athletic.
David Knight had given Thurrock a 1-0 lead but they were put to the sword by Athletic, as Adam Birchall helped himself to five goals.
Lee Roache added a late consolation for Fleet to make it 7-2.
Thurrock remain second bottom in the table.
