RYMAN ONE NORTH: This one sidede encounter ended up with Rocks trouncing Enfield Town 4-0.
A hat-trick from Kris Newby helped East Thurrock overwhelm Enfield Town and maintain their five-point lead at the top of the table.
Rocks dominated from the start and Kye Ruel shot against the bar on five minutes.
They took a 16th minute lead with Newby’s predatory finish from Reiss Gilbey’s cross, and doubled their advantage when the winger hit his second eight minutes later.
East Thurrock went three up when Max Cornhill curled home a free-kick he had won on 35 minutes. And Newby completed his treble with a sensational run and finish a minute before the break.
Rocks dominated the second half but could not add to their tally, although Cornhill hit the bar and substitute Steve Harrison headed against the post.
