Tilbury 3, Heybridge Swifts 4 RYMAN ONE NORTH: This exciting seven goal game eventually slipped away from the Dockers.
Tilbury took the lead on 20 minutes thanks to good work from Mustafa. His ball found Bradbury who cut in and fired into the bottom corner to give the home side the lead.
However, Heybridge responded just nine minutes later as Broadhurst pulled the ball back for Callender who diverted the ball past the impressive Marrable. Just three minutes later the game took another turn.
Good work from Ben Bradbury found Jack West who turned and struck the ball into the net to give Tilbury the advantage again.
As the game became tighter, Heybridge stole a equaliser on 38 minutes when a corner from English found the head of Hastings who rose highest to divert the ball into the net, to leave it all square into the break.
The second half, was a much tighter affair.
And, as pressure told, Heybridge took the lead for the first time.
Callander rose highest to grab his second and the team’s third just ten minutes into the second half.
However, the drama wasn't done there. On 80 minutes Dockers subsitute Manlee Brown was brought down for a penalty, which was despatched by Bradbury for the equaliser.
Deep into injury time a long throw from Hawes found Smith to head in for the winner on 93rd minute, to snatch all three points for Heybridge Swifts.
