NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: GRAYS host title-chasing Needham Market at Rookery Hill tonight, desperate to pick up back-to-back league wins for the first time since early September.
Grays beat Harlow on the weekend and still have games in hand on most teams in the division.
But they will need to turn those games into three-point hauls to stand any chance of reaching the play-offs and getting promoted from Ryman One North at their first attempt.
Grays’ landlords EAST THURROCK will also be keeping a close eye on the result. League leaders Rocks hosted AFC Sudbury at Rookery Hill last night, and will hope second-placed Needham drop points against Grays.
Elsewhere in our local non-league scene on Tuesday night, CONCORD hosted Bury Town, and BILLERICAY went to Tooting & Mitcham for Ryman Premier fixtures.
In Ryman One North, EAST THURROCK hosted AFC Sudbury, and GREAT WAKERING hosted Waltham Forest.
Games involving THURROCK, CANVEY, and TILBURY were postponed.
