Sutton United 2, Aveley 1 RYMAN PREMIER: Aveley took the lead against the league leaders but lost following a second-half comeback, writes Andy Potter.
Millers went in front against the run of play, with a penalty following a hand ball.
Tamer Tuna finished from 12 yards for his fourth goal in two games.
And they should have made it two on the stroke of half time, but Sherwin Stanley shot straight at the keeper when one on one.
Sutton equalised 30 seconds after the restart when keeper Dave McCartney’s foul led to a penalty which Andy Forbes put away.
And they hit the winner ten minutes later when Sam Page headed home unmarked from corner.
Aveley will be looking to bounce back when they host Hendon tonight.
Aveley: McCartney, Harrison, Andrews Edoji, Russell. Beaney, Thompson, Howells, Stanley, Tuna, Smith.
