LEAGUE CUP: IT WAS heartbreak for East Thurrock as they lost 1-0 in the Ryman league cup final to Bury Town on Wednesday.
Bury full-back Mark Coulson was the unlikely hero when he let fly from 25 yards and drilled the ball low into the corner for his first goal since October last season.
Keeper Marcus Garnham denied Sam Higgins in a rare attack by Rocks, but Bury held on to become the first Suffolk club to win the competition.
